Backup Preferences and Settings

This option backs up general preference settings that are saved into the registry, including toolbar positions, the list of PDF Excluded Fonts, the Audit of Blank Tags list, Custom Toolbar Buttons, the most recently used template list as well as your custom spell check dictionary.  Note however, that the spell check custom dictionaries by default are named based on your Windows user name.  If you were to restore this backup, the default custom dictionary would only apply if your user name on that PC is the same as it was on the PC you originally backup them up on.  This only applies to the default spellcheck custom dictionaries.  You can still use this custom dictionary, but you may have to go into the Spellcheck options (Setup > Spellcheck Options > Custom Dictionary tab) and specify the custom dictionary you wish to use.

BackupSettings

Specify the backup file you want to create.  The name defaults to the previous saved folder and with the file name of "WRSettingsBackup_YYYYMMDD_HHMM.zip" where YYYMMDD is the date and HHMM is the time of day.  You can enter a different name or click the button to the far right of the file name edit area to browse to a new location.

Click the [Backup Settings] to begin the backup process.
