Sketching Tools > RapidSketch

RapidSketch was a premium application for producing sketches, but is no longer available. It is mentioned here only because it might already be installed on your system or can be found online.

WhisperReporter Ascent installation includes the interface needed to communicate with RapidSketch, so no configuration is needed.

If you wish to use RapidSketch to draw the sketch for a WDI report, you can right click the default grid, such as the one provided in one of our sample WDI templates, and select Reset Diagram Using > Blank RapidSketch Sketch. Once the diagram has been replaced, all you need to do is double click the drawing which will launch RapidSketch. Once done with drawing the sketch, just close RapidSketch which will cause WhisperReporter Ascent to save or update the sketch in the database.

If you wish to insert a RapidSketch sketch anywhere in a report, you can use the Tools > Insert RapidSketch Sketch menu sequence.
