Cloakable text is text that is visible on the report, but invisible on the printout, unless you make it visible during report writing. To make the text visible on the print out, simply click on the text.  When cloaking text embedded in a sentence, the words before and after will come together seamlessly.

Cloakable text as shown in the editor:

Cloaked text is hidden in the printout:

Cloakable text is identified as light gray text with an underline by default.  You can chose a different color using the Setup > Color Options > Cloaked Text Display Color menu option. When clicked, the text will turn to its normal color. Normal text color indicates it will show up in the report, the cloaked text color indicates that it will not show up in the report.  The underline remains in both cases to indicate the text is cloakable in the editor, but the underline does not print out. The underline also lets you know what will be made visible as spaces and images can be included as cloakable.

Like anything else in the text area, cloakable text can be changed. Simply click on the hidden text (which will make it visible) or  use the arrow keys on your keyboard to move to the text you want to change and make modifications as you would any other text.

Cloakable text can be used in several different ways:

1.For paragraphs or sentences that apply only under certain conditions.

2.As Instructions.

3.To create dynamic bulleted lists.
