A duplicate Report has been encountered…

A duplicate report means that someone has taken a report, changed the name and/or the report’s content and resaved it. Unless you intend to overwrite an existing report, click [Skip]. The report will not be restored.

To resolve this, have the sender create a new report, using the original as a “template” (the name can be the same) and back up the new report.

A duplicate report view has been encountered…

The second potential warning is a duplicate Report View/Report Layout or Topic Layout. In this case, changes have been made to the background information of the report, such as headers and footers, topic order, topic names and added topics or chapters. Choosing the “Replace” option could possibly make unwanted changes to all reports of the same type i.e. all Home Inspections. Unless otherwise instructed, the safest thing to do is “Add as new Report View”.

A duplicate picklist has been encountered…

This means that there is/are option(s) in a picklist used in the report that are different from the same picklist in your database. You will want to click the “Merge” option so that updates in either picklist show up in both. Additions, edits and spelling changes will be made, deletions will not. You will also want to check the box “Apply same decision…” to automatically merge any other picklists and bypass this warning for the rest of the restore.
