Creating Fillable Forms

Fillable forms utilize fields to control where exactly the report writer can type. The first step is to type up and design the form, being sure to leave spaces for any fields or checkboxes you want to include. A form should reside on its own topic, since the report writer will only be able to type in the fields you setup.

 

This is how the topic might look to the report writer when the form is in Field Entry Mode.

 
The cursor can only be placed in the checkboxes and text fields (in this example, text fields are underlined) for modification.

The fields are identifiable by the << and >> brackets.  Those will be the only places where the cursor can be moved to.
